Your Story is operated by Joann Biondi.

A former Miami Herald reporter, Biondi is a writer and editor who has published ten books along with hundreds of articles in dozens of national periodicals. While she writes on many topics, her favorite subject is people.

With an innate ability to put people at ease, she always manages to coax her subjects out of their shells, gather poignant details, capture their essence, and bring their stories to life.

In the past 15 years, she has interviewed countless people from all walks of life—presidents, prime ministers, Nobel laureates, Native Indian chiefs, musicians, artists, dancers, farmers, fishermen, chefs, housewives, scientists, architects, park rangers, poets, antique dealers, airline pilots, cigar rollers, Zen masters, ship captains, environmentalists, historians, athletes, and business executives. She can talk to anyone.

Subjects of her magazine profiles have included: singer Jimmy Buffett, ballet director Edward Villella, Nobel Prize-winning authors Isaac Bashevis Singer and Derek Walcott, Prime Minister Michael Manley, National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, Pulitzer Prize-winning authors Herman Wouk and James Michener, salsa star Celia Cruz, reggae singer Ziggy Marley, and President Janet Jagan.

Biondi works with a team of professional proofreaders, graphic designers, printers, and bookbinders.

If you are interested in having a book written about yourself, or wish to arrange for one to be written about a friend or family member, we would be happy to discuss the project with you and provide a written estimate.
